4th State Championship for '93 Shubert

HFC '93 Shubert made it four State Championships in a row by shutting out NOKC United 4-0 and earned an invitation to the Region III regionals which this year will be held in Moore, Oklahoma from June 28-July 4th. The Canes pushed through the round robin format over the two weekends with a record of 4-0-0 and then took care of business in the finals. During the tournament the Canes scored 12 goals while only allowing 3.
HFC '92 Shubert will return to Regionals!

HFC 92 Shubert repeats a State Championship with a 4-2 win over HFC Cussen in the finals. HFC 92 Shubert went the entire year without losing a game to an Oklahoma team in their age group. They were 14-0 in the Oklahoma Premier League and 4-0 in the State Cup. They were down to 11 players in the final and fought their way to another State title. They are looking forward to Southern Regionals at the end of June in representing Oklahoma as the U-15 State Champion.
'93 Shubert Clinched 7th OPL Championship

The ladies of HFC '93 Shubert have clinched their seventh straight Oklahoma Premier League Championship. Since they were able to enter the OPL back in the Spring of 2004 they have continued to add the honors of being champions each and every fall and spring season which now makes seven in a row. During that time they have amassed a record of 64 wins, 3 losses, and 3 ties. Congratulations ladies on being the elite team of Oklahoma in your age group.
Canes Win Grrrls Elite Tournament in Memphis

While attending the Grrrls Elite Tournament at the beautiful Mike Rose Soccer Complex in Memphis, Tennessee we did not see Elvis but we did see some wonderful soccer played by our HFC '93 Shubert ladies. In game one of our pool play we faced Brentwood Premier from Tennessee and got off to a good start with a 1-0 shutout. Game two put us against the runner-up in the State Cup in Louisiana, Cajun Rage from Lafayette, and once again another shutout was recorded. This time the final score was 2-0.
U13 Ozark Spring Classic Champions!

HFC 95 Nigh wins their first 11v11 tournament over the weekend. They played up in the u13 girls division and had 4 shutouts. The scores were 2-0, 5-0, 2-0 and 1-0 in the finals against Ft. Smith Express 94 girls. Great job girls!
’94 Rhein Girls Win Thunder Friendship Cup Gold Division

After defeating both NOKC United and KCFC Alliance 1-0 in preliminary matches on Saturday, followed by a sound defeat 4-0 of Arkansas Comets early Sunday morning, the ’94 Girls were to face WSA in the finals. WSA is a fast improving club, which had defeated Norman Fury Red 1-0 to secure their own place in the final match.
91 Richardson wins Thunder Friendship Cup

In an exciting finish, this past weekend's Tulsa Thunder Friendship Cup was won by the Hurricane Futbal Club '91 - Richardson over NOKC Padova. The game was tied 2-2 after regulation and after 2 five minute overtime periods. The game went into a shootout with both teams converting 4 of 5 penalty kicks. The game then went into a second, sudden death penalty kick situation. Tim Spencer, goalie - the Most Valuable Player of the U-16 division - stopped the first Padova penalty kick. Then Kendall Springer buried his shot into the net, winning the game for the Hurricane.
'93 Beattie Girls Champs in back-to-back tournaments

The HFC 93 Beattie Girls completed a successful April tournament schedule bringing home wins two weekends in a row. The girls started their winning ways by traveling to Garland, TX, April 6-8, to participate in the North Texas Spring Challenge. They took 5 games in a row including a 5-0 win in the final and didn't surrender a goal en route to the championship. The team then returned home to tackle the Gold Division at the Thunder Friendship Cup, April 13-15. The girls progressed through pool play without surrendering a goal and then met a tenacious Springfield, MO team in the final.
Hurricane Academy 98 Girls are Finalists at the WSA Cup Tournament

HFC Academy 98 Girls participated in the WSA Cup tournament at Valley Park in Catoosa on March 31st and April 1st. The girls played five tough games for an incredible tournament advancing from bracket play and beating the 98 Basira Green team 3-1 in the semi-finals. Dueling against the 98 Basira White team in the final led to a 1–1 tie at the end of regulation. Neither team could score a goal during the two five minute halves of overtime so the HFC Academy 98 girls were forced into the first penalty kick shoot-out of their young careers. The girls did great but Basira eventually won the shoot-out on the seventh shooter. The championship game was an exciting conclusion to a well-played tournament by all of the girls. GREAT JOB GIRLS!
HFC 97 girls Capture 1st 11v11 win at Springe Challange VIII

The HFC 97 girls traveled to Garland, Texas over Easter weekend to capture their 1st 11v11 championship. Their 1st game was the 2nd time the girls had ever stepped on the field 11v11, this against Texas teams who play this in league.
Their 1st win was against Polaris 97 6-0. Next up was a game against the host team NTX Strikers. The end result 10-0. The 3rd game of the day was against a very good Texas Spirt 97 team with the final ending in a tie 1-1. Saturday the girls battled freezing tempetures and snow flurries to beat Quest FC 7-0.
